Visiting Gatton Park

From February to October, Gatton Park is open to the public on the first Sunday of each month.

Opening times: 1.00pm – 5.00pm. Guided tours are available throughout the afternoon or by prior arrangement and last approximately 2 hours.

Weekly Tours

Guided tours of the park and gardens every Tuesday and Thursday at 2pm 1st February to 31st October. Advance booking is essential. As the tour guides are volunteers please give at least one week’s notice. Cost; £7 per adult.
Pay on arrival. Meet at 2pm by the lych gate St Andrews Church. Dogs on a lead welcome.

As part of the Heritage Open Day scheme there will be free tours around Gatton Park.

Directions

By Road from M25

Exit Junction 8 taking the A217 towards Reigate, after 400 metres fork left onto Gatton Bottom, signposted Merstham. After one mile turn right into Rocky Lane (signposted: Royal Alexandra and Albert School). The school entrance is on the Right after a further 400 metres.

By Train

Redhill station is a 2½ mile taxi journey from the school with frequent services to London, Gatwick & Reading. (Merstham Station is a 1½ mile taxi journey, but train service/taxi availability is better at Redhill).
